1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Pop! (www.pop.my), Malaysia's daily outfit archive, wearable showcase, and social fashion community based in Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding electronic agreement under Malaysia's Contracts Act 1950 (Act 136) and Electronic Commerce Act 2006 (Act 658) between you ("Member", "Creator", "User", or "you") and Pop! ("we", "us", or "our").


By accessing or browsing www.pop.my, claiming a https://www.pop.my/u/username profile, installing the Pop! Progressive Web App (PWA) on your mobile or desktop device, or participating in our community feed and chatrooms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy (PDPA Malaysia), and our Style & Security Guidelines.

Your Content Ownership: You retain full ownership of the original outfit descriptions, status updates, lookbook captions, and links you post on www.pop.my.

License to Pop!: By posting content on www.pop.my, you grant Pop! a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to host, store, format, auto-embed, display, and distribute your content across the website, Discover leaderboards, and installable PWA.

Pop! Brand & Platform Assets: The Pop! name, the "P!" 512×512 emblem, custom UI themes, source code, and curated editorial layout are protected under Malaysia's Copyright Act 1987 (Act 332) and applicable intellectual property laws.

6. Community Conduct & Malaysian Law Compliance (CMA 1998 & Content Code)

In accordance with Sections 211 and 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 (Act 588) [CMA 1998] and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Content Code, you agree NOT to use the Daily Feed, Post Comments, 30-Character Profile Micro-Wall, Custom Social Media Links, or the 7 Community Chatroom Categories (#general-lounge, #ootd-fit-check, #hype-and-drops, #wearables-and-gear, #buy-sell-trade, #creators-collab, #music-and-vibes) to post or transmit any material that:


Is obscene, indecent, false, menacing, defamatory, seditious, or offensive in character with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any person in Malaysia or abroad;

Promotes hate speech, cyberbullying, doxxing, or discrimination based on race, religion, nationality, gender, or disability;

Contains malware, phishing links, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) payloads, SQL injection attempts, or unauthorized commercial spam;

Infringes upon third-party copyrights, trademarks, or publicity rights, or promotes counterfeit/pirated goods.

7. Community Marketplace (#buy-sell-trade), Outbound Links & Sponsored Ads

Outbound Product & Social Links: Profiles and outfit items may include outbound links to external retail stores, affiliate pages, and custom social media platforms. All outbound URLs are filtered through our protocol allowlist (https://, http://, mailto:), but Pop! does not control or endorse third-party websites.

Peer-to-Peer Listings in #buy-sell-trade: Any buying, selling, or trading of streetwear, vintage apparel, equipment, or wearables discussed in the #buy-sell-trade channel takes place strictly between the participating users. Pop! (www.pop.my) is not a party, payment processor, or escrow agent to any peer-to-peer transaction and assumes no liability for user-to-user disputes.

Zero Tolerance for Counterfeits: Promoting or selling counterfeit, replica, or stolen merchandise is a violation of Malaysia's Trade Descriptions Act 2011 (Act 730) and will result in immediate permanent account termination.

Sponsored Footer Banners: www.pop.my may display clearly labeled sponsored HTML banners in the site footer managed by Platform Administrators.

8. Moderation, Role Hierarchy & Enforcement

To keep www.pop.my welcoming and safe, our community is governed by a three-tier role hierarchy:


Regular Members: Can publish daily outfit updates, curate their 6 outfit elements, add custom social media links, react (❤️👍👎), comment, post 30-character profile wall notes, chat across the 7 lounge categories, and submit community safety reports (🚩).

Moderators: Appointed community guardians who can pin, lock, hide, and delete posts, mute disruptive regular members in the chatroom, review and resolve reports, and hide or ban regular member accounts. Hierarchy Rule: Moderators cannot modify, mute, hide, or ban Administrators or other Moderators.

Administrators: Hold full platform governance, security, branding, user provisioning, rotating tagline management, and CMS editorial authority.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Pop! (www.pop.my) is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted under Malaysian law (and without excluding any mandatory statutory rights under Malaysia's Consumer Protection Act 1999 (Act 599) where applicable), Pop! and its founders, administrators, and moderators disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, third-party links, or peer-to-peer interactions.


10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of www.pop.my shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
